They last a long time even with the jobs i assign to them.
I bought these with the intention of using them for my gym towels, but they shrunk up to the size of a wash cloth.

Excellent for the price washes and dries well, i did not notice and shrinkage.

I've now purchased three 12-packs of these over the last several months.

When im finished with each towel i can decide whether to soak it put it in the basket with other dirty rags to wash or if it is beyond cleaning i toss it into the trash
