Good quality old fashioned shelf paper that does the job. It has some kind of coating - like glossy paper. It's on a roll, so it naturally is a bit curled when you lay it in the drawer.

This was purported to be a drawer liner. It is not. Thin and flimsy. Not even good for children’s artwork.
