Pros

Using rocks to fill in around a candle for an outdoor lantern. The stones themselves have a nice color and sheen.

Use these in the bottom of your large planters for increase drainage. Makes a nice zen garden feel to the water tray complimenting the tree nicely. Improves appearance for plants in 10 or less diameter pots.

Cons

The rocks are nice and smooth and easy to use to ensure drainage for my potted plants, especially ones in smallish pots.

They fit well into the hole around the tube and provide plenty of weight to hold the filter in the bottom of the tank.

Though the vase is heavy, cats tend to pull over so they help weight it down

I bought these to weigh down a diy bubble filter i made out of a gallon jug.
