I have a minipc that doesnt seem able to consistently power external usb nvme drives or google coral tpu and this should be a great fix to allow them to connect at high speed while providing sufficient device power

Using the power supply is also optional and it appears to be ± fully functional without it just of course dependent then on the power from the computer alone
