I was surprised on how good the quality was for the price point.
Very happy with the caddy, arrived well packed and has a good quality finish.

Don't throw away anything like a computer, tv recorder, or whatever, with the hard drive still it.

I have only recently bought this enclosure but so far i am very pleased, should i see another at a reduced price i shall buy it.

Competitiveness
I use this for a 6tb wd red drive and it works great.
One of these is a 3tb hdd i am using for my ps4 with no problem.
The other two with 500gb hdd from the aforementioned sky+ boxes.
As a photographer i can fill up an external drive quite quickly but with this i can just use cheap 1tb disks.

Cons1 the enclosure is not large enough for all hdd lengths

But they are on the back where the cables go in where you cant see them which is completely illogical
