Easy to open and close the case. Everything is there to install and connect. Easy to install hard drive. Easily installed and set up.
Find your drive and right click on the unallocated space. Format this volume with the following settings. Default for allocation unit size.
Cons
Deceptive and *. Bad qa makes the whole thing worthless. Only the shell is aluminum. The piece that the drive rests in is plastic.
It also takes forever to connect to computer when first plugged in. Now when you plug the unit in, it locks up the other usb drives and will not allow access to the hard drive. Both of those have mounting holes in exactly the same place.

The build quality is superb and the tolerances between the inner plastic try and the outer enclosure are beautifully precise.
I put the drive in the case with the supplied screws and attached the cover and plugged it in and everything worked fine.
I am disappointed with the plastic inner tray.

The ventilation holes are nice but i would prefer if they were also positioned along one of the long thin sides because heat rises and would immediately be able to escape if you had the enclosure sitting on the stand
