Pros

The weight of this 3 qt. Water drains easily and it is a good size.

The entire surface is completely smooth with no sharp edges or pics anywhere. Laser etching on the rim of the base refers to the quality of the stainless steel.

Quality was overall amazing, and was perfect for anything really.

They are identical in quality and design.

Packaging/appearance

This is the perfect size, i found the 5qt a little too big for our small family, but i love love love the 3qt.

Most of the rice stayed in the colander but a small amount got through.

Competitiveness

If you own a collapsable model colander you will be pleased to know it’s just a tragic accident waiting in the wings.
