Pros

It takes a while for me to remove it since i have arthritis in my hand but handles are removable with some effort. It's sturdy and has handles for emptying out.

Well made steamer basket. Perfect for use in 6 quart instant pot. Great for straining beans you've soaked, steaming, or even frying.

The mesh is much finer than a regular skimmer bucket, so it collects more stuff. It functions way better than the plastic baskets.

Cons

The mesh is flimsy. The base appears to be cheaply glued to the bottom of the mesh. This basket is obviously not decent grade stainless.

This is a well-made and versatile tool for straining beans you've soaked, steaming, or even frying.

They are made cheaply and fail every 3-4 months.

For salt water pools this metal skimmer rusted and fell to shreds in one year.

Price

It was 20+ at my local grocery so this saved me some money and i really love and appreciate it.

Save $ with this perfect “everything basket”.

And cheaper than the plastic direct replacement.

Cheaper than buying a dedicated steamer system and takes up much less cupboard space (it nests nicely inside my colander).
