Packaging/appearance
The strainers are very substantial and don't float around when water is running (allowing food to get down the drain).
They are a nice weight to them and keeps food from going down the drain.
It fits perfectly and lays flat, trapping any debris from escaping down the drain.
Keeps a lot of small food particles out of the sink drains.
Competitiveness
They are a good weight, rust-proof, easy to clean, and so worth the price!
These are heavy duty stanless steel, they do not rust.

I had bought several of the ones with little screens they would get all gooked up and hard to clean

They were either too small and let food down the drain or the lip was too high and i had to manually scoop food into the strainer basket or they would close up and not let the water through
