Pros

These are durable and cut through grapefruit sections like they are softened butter. These have a very substantial handle, and crisp serrations that should cut well. I use for just grapefruit & they do the trick nicely.

Cons

Do not put these un the dishwasher. These are super flimsy. The old-fashioned grapefruit knife still works better.

Plastic handles are only very loosely attached to the metal base and move freely. That means liquids and grease from other foods get trapped between the plastic and the metal layers and are virtually impossible to remove. The handle is small and slipp... Read More

The tip is a flat, horizontal, blunt *-like edge with a single dragon-tooth protruding. It is not serrated. The other end's curved and serrated edge is marginally more functional at releasing the peripheral edge of the grapefruit section.
