The marble rolling pin is heavy enough to flatten dough. It rolls smoothly and requires little pressure on my part. Perfect for rolling beef jerky because it is heavy and rolls easily. Works very well with cookie dough, and any other dough i have put ... Read More

The pin is medium weight and glides smoothly. Not to heavy for arthritic hands, rolls easily and smoothly.

Was not packaged well at all. Poor packaging allows the contents to shift.

The one from amazon arrived perfect with the exception of a slightly crumpled box.

I've wanted a nice maybe one for a long time and this one with the steel handles works great for me.

They do not pack rhe product well and the stand was broken on arrival.

Ordered it twice because the first one came with a broken base, got the second one today with the same issue.

Price

It is well worth the price, great buy!

Shipping

The box was a little beat up in shipping, but the pin and the stand were not damaged.

Packaging/appearance

It does have a very solid feel, and rolls very smooth form just me examining it after seeing the beat up packaging.

Easy to wash, light and i can get it cooled in the fridge.

I would not consider the packaging esthetically giftable, though.
