Tampers are better than anything that will come with your espresso machine (usually a * plastic version) one end has larger diameter which is a perfect fit. Using it with a breville esp8xl.

Finish is ruined, and leaves a powdery black dust everywhere. Definately not food-safe. Presence of a molding mark on the tamper.
