Pros

Heavy, but not too heavy for arthritic hands, rolls easily and smoothly. Heavy enough to flatten dough. Perfect as the rolling pin is made of smooth metal.

It works beautifully though, and is beautiful in appearance. Works well, cleaned easily. This stays cool, so that is much less of an issue.

The pin is narrower in diameter and much, much lighter, so there was more rolling action required as well as more pressure. It is perfect for rolling beef jerky because it is heavy and rolls easily. I use it for rolling out pizza dough, and it works g...  Read More

Quality

This is a very well made rolling pin.

Nice weight, not to heavy for arthritic hands, rolls easily and smoothly.

Dough sticks far less to this rolling pin.

Price

It is well worth the price, great buy!

I got my first marble baking pin in two days for $36.

Shipping

She shipped me a replacement for my damaged part while making the whole process seem very relaxed, not stressful at all.

Competitiveness

My grandmother had a rolling pin very similar to this and she made the best pie crusts and biscuits.

Overall, i would recommend this to others looking to add to a bakers arsenal of kitchen tools.

But most rolling pins stick to the dough unless plenty of flour is dusted onto the dough

But eventually and certainly the dough absorbs the dusting and becomes 34heavy34 when what i wanted was light and fluffy

Back to the oven for 5 minutes

I use this method because it was impossible to get the relativelymoist dough to slide off the peel given the weight of the toppings
