Pros & Cons
Pros
I know it is a little pricey, but we love this cooler. This purchase was made after researching so many hard coolers. Much better than the cheaper brands!
I appreciate how lightweight it is, without feeling unsturdy. The built in bottle opener is a nice touch. The rtic does looks studier/sealed/rugged compared to our $60 coleman.
Qt ultralight cooler without wheels. The wheels are softer rubber that absorbs minor impacts. Large enough to not sink into soft ground.
The handle on this cooler is great also, soft padding instead of hard plastic. Wide handle means that it doesn't bang you legs as you try to walk. Rtic gets extra points for the no slam handle because now we don't have to listen to the handle hitting ... Read More
Cons
Ice melts in less than 18 hrs in 80 degree weather in total shade. For this performance just go by an igloo or another knockoff brand. I have cheap coleman coolers that work better than this.
Highlights
Quality
The wheels and handle seem sturdy and well made.
Love the rolling wheels & sturdy handle!
Very little ice melt after 72 hours even with daily checking.
After six days only the top layer started to thaw in both coolers.
Price
Best buy ever for the price well worth it!

The cooler was delivered faster than anticipated.

Delivery was quicker than expected so we started on a good note.
Packaging/appearance
I liked the "patriot" color scheme and put on our own touches which you can see in the photos.
Not really necessary but i like to keep it packed!
Competitiveness
Keeps ice for days, just as good as yeti imho.
Good coolers can be expensive and this one was the best deal and in my opinion has the same quality of the yeti's which are $10... Read More
I ordered this directly from rtic's website as it was a better deal.
I couldn’t tell you the difference between the yeti & rtic if i didn’t see the labels.

The only thing that was hard to get past was the 1 year warranty vs 5 years but for something i’m only using 34 months out of the year i think it’ll be fine
