Pros

I use the rtic in the back of my truck when going hiking or camping. I have a tonneau cover on my tacoma truck so it protects even longer. The few drawbacks with any of these bigger ice-chests is 1.

Very durable, sturdy and easy to clean. Dual drain plugs are super nice, and the built in divider section is awesome.

Cons

I’m not sure if i have a defective cooler or if this is standard but it is very irritating to spend this much on a cooler that doesn’t really outperform the cheaper coolers at walmart.

Save your money and buy an igloo cooler or spend a few more and get a yeti. Don't be fooled by their marketing the rtic hardsided coolers now carry 1/5 the warranty of the yeti coolers. Save your money and buy a yeti, orion or any other barnd.

The left side of the front is so scuffed it looks like the molding wasn't properly done. The seal on the inside was ripped *. Oily substance and hairs on it.

Quality

I have used rtic products and purchased this because i liked the quality.

Perfect size for our needs and very well made, no quality issues what so ever.

There’s almost no difference other than the logo as to the quality of this cooler.

It does not come with the basket or divider.

Price

This was a great product for the price.

Its great but the price is ridiculous.

Shipping

The shipping box had some damage, but the cooler was perfectly fine inside.

The shipping from amazon was super fast!

The shipping box seemed to be in good shape, but didn't have extra padding and did take an extended transit time via a 3rd party shipper.

Packaging/appearance

I filled in some of that with conventional freezer packs, and then the dry ice and its plastic bags filled the rest pretty tightly.

Competitiveness

I will be shopping for more rtic products for sure.

This cooler performs as good as it’s expensive four letter “y” competition for less money and more room!

This is useful information if you want to know how many rtic ice packs will fit in the bottom of the cooler.

These things are very comparable to a yeti coolers but not as expensive!
