The lids fit snug, like the rubber around them. The tops are leakproof and lock together when not in use. They also stack nicely, lids and all which is a plus! The old style fit l lid fit these bases too, so i can use my old lids if i want.

Saves alot of room. The rubbermaid premium food containers are the best for storing, freezing, or reheating food on the market. They stack in the pantry and take less space when stored.
Cons
Be very careful with these. Where one snaps it shut on side of container. Didn't even last a month out of the package with scratches. I hope something was wrong in the batch as i so loved my old ones.
