Pros

This rubbermaid plastic trashcan is a great little product. Pop-up lid and retainer rods to hold the trash bag.

The spring loaded lid is great! Easy to clean lid. Only down side is that it requires a little effort to keep crumbs out of the inside edge of the lid frame. I definitely prefer a lid that pops up instead of pushing in or down.

Cons

Don't be fooled by the rubbermaid name or the apparently good average amazon rating. This can is very expensive for what you get. Seemingly cheap construction and flimsy lid.

No way to avoid children or pets from taking it off just by bumping. Big brand name stickers that you can't peel off without leaving a sticky mess behind.
