Pros

Rubbermaid 3qt mixermate is a really good pitcher. It holds a good amount, it pours well. Pop lid works well. Easy to pour.

I now use the container for storing only fresh water, and it fits nicely inside my tennis bag. It was packaged well and arrived quickly. I like that the top stays airtight, helping to keep the liquid fresh and not absorb fridge flavors and odors.

The only complaint i have is that it is bulky. Not a fault with product at all though.

It is a little hard to wash. I usually fill the whole thing with hot soapy water and let it soak. Just put a couple drops of dish soap, shake, use a bottle brush and whixk, rinse.

Cons

Rubbermaid jug leaks everywhere when you shake it. Pour spout hard to open & fits crookedly. I open the fridge door, and it's dripping onto the floor.

The fact that i had to figure this out myself cost rubbermaid a star, although it's still a very good product.

A clue: the top spout was never aligned with the direction of pour.

It needs to be installed with the wide side out if removed for cleaning.

The other cereal container with the loose lid would pop off if lifted out from cabinet due to weight of food.

Price

The price was so low it was easier to just replace it than to clean the old one.

Packaging/appearance

Was looking for a container to fit a french door fridge.

Competitiveness

I will just save it for uses (bbqs, eg) where i can serve liquids but idon't need to put it back into the refrigerator!
