First when you set one on top of the other the top one tends to slide off because they dont interlock in any way

If you try to load it full like that the lid will not close

The molded ring around the inside of the lid goes down inside the container and if its too full the lid will not close

Also realize that there is no rubber ring or anything to seal these containers
