Cons

Plastic #7 contains bpa and is to be avoided, per health guidelines. The lids leak and the containers crack.

This review is preliminary in that i'm waiting for a response from rubbermaid. They offer me a $12 refund on $17. Big mistake.

The lids on these things are really tough to get off! The large beads,with the flower in the middle, now have virtually no silver color and are dark colored.

Air can be heard and felt being expelled when sealing. The gasket is not removeable for cleaning. I usually have to use a knife to pry the lid open to break the airtight seal.

A little pricey but got it on sale.

Wanted a couple more of that size, and found uses for the smaller ones, and discovered this set at a super sale price ($27).

Packaging/appearance

I feel like the packing at the facility is the best option for overall freshness.

Our old containers were scratched and unhygenic.

I leave the product in their original packaging until we are ready to use them.

Competitiveness

Compared to all the other brilliance sets, this one’s a bargain.
