Price
Price is a little shocking but we hope to have it for a long long time!
I like it so much i would pay full price now without any hesitation.
Shipping
First one was white and though i was happy with the basic product it did have quality and shipping issues.
The second one i bought was red which had thicker paint and no shipping damage.
Packaging/appearance
I love this product despite the fact rubber foam gasket was installed incorrectly so it stuck out the backside of the lid.
For others they might result in looking at another maker and a less weighty product with better packaging for shipment.
The can comes with a liner which is great if the bag gets ripped and the can keeps odors away.
Competitiveness
I added a ziplock of bb's to the inside under the liner.
Plus you are supporting one of the last manufacturers making household goods in the usa.

I find that is is a snap to swap out the bags unlike the reviews on this product that completely mystify me a child could manage it

Overall i would recommend the product but if i were the product manager i would most assuredly investigate both inconsistent build quality and powdercoat application

You may find that you have to carefully remove the seal on the lid and reposition

Purchased this industrial strength trash can three years ago and it still looks gorgeous
