Pros & Cons
Pros
These stack and aren’t as fragile as my glass canisters. After a while they start cracking and then i can plan on getting a new set very soon. They stack on each other nicely in the refrigerator to save me space.
These are also great for marinating meat. Being able to lay your cuts flat, sealing the lid tightly and not having to worry about leaks. Use it to brine chicken, mix large batches of foods.
Cons
One label almost falls off. These are not bpa free.
After rereading the fine print is says lid available. Then, i see that that the containers don’t come with lids- that is an additional $8 or more making the duo cost over $20. These do me no good without lids.
Highlights
Quality
Much more effective storage because of the tight seal and it’s easy to tell exactly how much product is inside.
Have a 4qt and a 6qt, fantastic for proofing dough.
Lids do not make a watertight seal, have to use plastic wrap.
They are very durable and perfect not only for leftovers, prep work, but for thawing or marinating large pieces of meat in the fridge.
Shipping
I was sent the wrong size at first, amazon quickly fixed the problem.
Packaging/appearance
This is the perfect size for three packets of shiritaki noodles and four bags of kelp noodles.
Otherwise, i wish it came with a lid, rather than sold separately.
