For years my stool only had two casters and the result was that the stool dragged on the floor because of the missing caster.
Price
This is so worth the money for the convenience, i don't have to lean over and pick it up to put it in and out of place.
Even though this stool is a little bit pricey, it’s worth the $.

One thing i would add is some sort of cushion or protective wrap on the step so that when it rolls into your cabinets or appliances it wont scratch them

We just had 42 inch cabinets put in the kitchen and im 5534 so no way am i reaching those upper shelves

You simply can push it with your feet to roll it into place then step on it to lock it and then roll it back out of the way

My other stool cracked in the front area but that stool was about 8 years old

It finally cracked and felt very unstable so i was delighted to find it is still being manufactured
