I have used other scales which cost less but have always found them to be off and not in a consistent way so i could not use them to accurately gauge shipping costs

We dropped the reader and broke the cover to the battery which caused the wires to eventually rip out

In both cases knowing the actual weight of the package helps us charge our customers and buyers the actual shipping costs
