Lids not only fit multiple containers, they stack together and lock together or can be snapped onto the bottom of the container.

I purchased this for storing homemade ice cream because the containers that are specifically made for ice cream are overpriced.

Comes in a wide variety of sizes from small treat size all the way up to containers large enough to hold a deboned 10lb turkey.
Competitiveness
So far these new ones seem as good as the older rubbermaid similar products so that is a plus, as that cannot be said for a lot of brands.
Often these are hard to find on their own and and expensive even at walmart or safeway.

They do stain from tomato sauce but ive never met a clear container that doesnt and they are otherwise easy to clean

I would not recommend using them for storing anything 34red34 tomato saucewatermelon as i have found historically these items will permanently stain any plastic over the long haul

I would not recommend using them for microwaving high fat foods as historically i have found nuking such foods in microwave safe plastic containers can cause permanent marking scoring or damage to inside of container
