Pros & Cons
Pros
Great solution to soggy rotten fruit or vegetables. I use it for strawberries and they have kept for up to 2 weeks staying fresh and firm, same for veggies too. The insert works to eliminate fruit sitting in water. There is a vent to for gas to escape... Read More
Arrived as promised. Works as advertised.
Rubbermaid freshworks produce saver food storage container, small square, 2. It is easily cleaned in the dishwasher and retains its shape even in the drying cycle. These are stackable too.
They stay nice and crispy for several days. They keep produce fresher longer. I get weekly csa box, and this container keeps my produce fresh days longer.
Cons
Not worth it. Just a gimmick. Do not work. With in a few days already mold on our raspberries.
Highlights
Quality
I like that the material is strong, keeps contents fresh, and its size helps to keep it anywhere you want.
I have been able to keep berries (raspberries, blackberries and strawberries) and grapes fresh for well over a week.
For years we would eat half a pack of berries and a few days later they would be moldy.
Sadly the green crisper tray in the bottom was accidentally put in the trash.
Price
Saves money by not throwing away spoiled or rotted produce.
Packaging/appearance
My berries stay fresh longer than in the store packaging, so we have less waste.
I use these to keep all berries and the berries last longer than if i had left them in the store packaging.
