This new one is a breeze to get spotless. The ring is easy to remove from the lid and easy to put back on. Once you put the ring back on the lid it stays securely in place. No leaks or spills either.
Great value for 10 bucks. No downside. Cheaper than yeti.
This mug is leak proof.
Perfect size, fits comfortably in my hand and in the cupholder of my car. The size is just right - when you get into the gigantic sizes of other brands you really loose grip control.
Cons
This rubbermaid is very hard to snap open or shut. I even run very hot water in it to give it a helping hand but still within an hour it was luke warm. This bottle leaks.
No reply after several weeks. Very disappointed.

This is not a mug that can be tossed in a pack or survive a drop onto a floor without opening up and spilling its contents

Theyd probably stand up to this given my experience but unlike more expensive mugs that are seam sealed this uses synthetic plug on the bottom of the mug which may or may not be affected by high external heat in a dishwashers drying cycle
