Pros

All 4 of my 20lb propane tanks fit nicely inside. It's plenty big for a 50 lb bag of snowmelt and then some. I'm a full-time rv'r and what that means is that i live in an rv village.

It snaps into place. With the lid open, it's very easy to see the hinge assembly. Im sure i can put some velcro straps to help but this is a needed change in design.

Cons

This bin is weather proof from rain if you can get it to stay together, but in no way is it weatherproof in regards to actually withstanding fluctuations in weather. If you have no patience, this is not the purchase for you. Disappointed in rubbermaid... Read More

The so called instructions are laughable. The nail holes are not in the places that the directions say so the strap is pretty useless. No latch to hold the top closed (only holes to add a padlock).
