They have never leaked on us as long as the lids are on securely

I especially like the seal proof lids when one falls in the frig the liquid stays in the bottle not all over the frig

If i bring them out of the freezer carefully and let them defrost about 10 minutes before putting them into the munchkins backpacks then they are fine

They do not snap or click closed so you have to pay attention a little which is difficult for smaller kids

If i do feel brave enough to open one of the really gross ones they come out of the dishwasher as good as new
