Pros & Cons
Pros
These are sturdy and durable. Can be used in damp spaces; snug seal helps keep items dry, and moisture out. Have used one to help hold insulation on an outdoor water faucet for over 10 years.
Well packaged. Outstanding construction. Great product but still too expensive. That’s why it receives a 4.
These rubbermaid bins handles take up less space than those other bins without handles instead use bigger lid overlaps to use as a handle. Visually, the garage and campsite stay nicer looking without bright yellow lids.
Cons
The material is also much more flimsy than they were in the past. Shame on rubbermaid for such an inferior product. The remaining three are very poor quality and will not hold up to the least of jostling or being poked.
Lids are too large and really just sit on top of the tote. Lids do not clasp around tupperware. Disappointed with these rubbermaid bins.
Highlights
Quality
None of that brittle quality you get with cheaper bins.
I love the opaque quality as clear totes tend to get scratched up and look pretty icky on the shelf.
The driver left with the damaged box and totes.
Packaging/appearance
The company needs to review their packaging quality!
Competitiveness
These are petite in the tote world.
