This crate fit the bill in getting my doberman across the ocean.
This was recommended by a colleague and has changed everything tremendously. It is super sturdy and so very easy to put together. Plenty of room.

Plus, this is a very light weight crate which is essential for shipping with many airlines.
Packaging/appearance
Crate was what i expected but it came damaged due to improper packaging.
Competitiveness
I have a 55lb pound dog and bought the largest crate to give him a little extra room to stand and turn around if need be.
Many airlines have a 100lb weight limit otherwise you may pay extra fees and need to take trips to cargo.
Better quality than a petmate sky kennel.
This worked to ship my 70lb doberman from atlanta to okinawa, japan.
