Pros

This is as described a youth stocked rifle, however the youth is 16+. Got this for my 6 year old son on his bday. It is great for learning the basics and plinking.

Once this rifle is zero'd in it is a pretty consistent performer. The power and accuracy are good at this price point, but temper your expectations. Accurate with h&n pellets.

The crossman premier destroyer is a single shot rifle. It shoots crossman flatheads and hollow points both with good results. Its a lot more convenient than having to pump up strokes before each shot. Will help a young shooter move up from a red-ryder... Read More

Sights are great, good in low light, red on green contrast. The fiber-optic sights are really great, but i had to adjust them quite away up and to the left to get into zero.

I had to remove the butt plate to help with length of pull.

I took off a star because the rear sight didn't raise up far enough and because it didn't shoot right on target straight out of the box.

Competitiveness

Purchased for a 6y girl, extremely easy to operate for her with a propped shooting position.

My son is small for a 12yr old and loves to hunt!

It also destroyed a nice winchester 2x7 32mm ao scope.

The last time i shot it i tried some crosman premier wadcutter pellets which are 7.
