It was advertised as dishwasher safe but when i put it in the dishwasher the finish on the wood came off and is now dull and white

I knew it would not be dishwasher safe but i tried it anyway to see

Eventually i will recoat the wood to protect it but for now it is doing the job regardless

I would avoid putting yours in the dishwasher though if you want to extend the life of them
