Pleasing blue ring around base when switched on. Viewing window on both sides. Looks great on with its neon blue light on.
Very pleased with my purchase. Had it a couple of weeks and pleased so far. Can highly recommend. Just brilliant value for money.
Cons
Four months is no time to start having mechanical malfunctions. Very dangerous and cannot find a way of contacting anyone to get a replacement. Very disappointing from a well known brand.

The kettle itself is a very awkward shape as the water sloshes around inside the kettle. Within 3 months it is a lot noisier when boiling. When the kettle has finished boiling there is a ring of water on the charger plate.

Unfortunately the seal at the bottom broke after just over 3 years and it started to leak.
I had one for around ten years and it broke.

I didn’t want any of the keep warm temperature gimmicks etc that essentially are just pointless so i decided to go for this kettle as trying to avoid and limit the amount of plastic coming into contact with boiling water

This russell hobbs electric kettle was a replacement for one i had previously which i had had a few years but this one was not cordless as it said in the heading and what i had expected
