The buttons on base got really hot the noise they warn you about is horrific and the cartridges would cost £10 every 2 months as in hard water area mine drain shame as looked nicer then mine nice iron carnt wait to start and useing it had this iorn over a year now just a shame there is no way of securing the iorn to the the base i had problems with this the steam stopped after a couple of months had other problems since then steam output etc was great whilst it lasted
