Pros
Has a nice sturdy feel and feels like it a good quality and durable kettle. It is super quiet so i have to stay in the kitchen to make sure i hear when its boiled. It's so quiet, i forget i've already boiled the water.
We hope it will prove well worth the extra cost -- so long as its lid mechanism lasts. Delivered 24hrs before, so thank you.
Cons
It looks rubbish after a while of using. Not gta 4 plus a potato peeler and book and a bunch of other random stuff. However, durability is terrible.
Even after 5 fills, boilings and rinses there is a distinct smell of hot plastic. The limescale filter in the kettle is not fit for purpose- to the extent that we have to use a tea strainer when pouring water. If you don't completely rinse out the ket... Read More
Water tastes of plasticky-disinfectant. This kettle is not quieter than most kettles unless you have it more than half full. If its kettle says up to 75% quieter, when tested against a russle hobbs kettle without quite boil technology.
On every edge there's a limescale buildup. The spout filter is only a flimsy plastic mesh.

The spout pours smoothly with no drips, and the handle stays cool to the touch.
The first one lasted over two years and stopped working.
Then finally the lid fell off all together.

I was glad amazon was able to ship the tea kettle to the usa.
This product arrived safely and in good condition.
Packaging/appearance
Liked the look of this kettle and have to say it looks lovely in 'real life' - would highly recommend.
The third one is in the box and kept as spare.
