Pros
Great toaster. Bread toasts quicker than our previous one. Only down side is there is on reheat button, so i have to manually eject the toast if i would like to re-heat it.
Black kettle is reasonably priced. Has a very good design and is easy to clean. Bought to match quiet kettle.
It fits large slices of bread, it toasts fairly evenly and it is vey very quick. I find that this setting gives an even toasting across the bread on both sides.
Cons
It toasts unevenly, even on a basic square loaf. But having tried 3 or 4 different varieties of bread, i didn't get an adequate toasted result from any of them.
Not a good effort by russell hobbs and has shaken my confidence in this companies products. Hasn't even lasted 10 months.

It does toast very fast so only need the dial on less than a quarter or risk burning

Its not quite the same the lever you push the toast down with doesnt always go down first time and seems less stable than the old one
