I have only just had this kettle a few days and i’m very pleased with it , especially the fast boil facility when making one cup .
It turns itself off when fully boiled.
Having said that it doesn't matter as you only fill the kettle to a certain level so the rest was wasted space.

I prefer the stainless steel to the polished one which started going rusty and like all the russell hobbs kettles it is a bit noisy

It says to fill to maximum and boil the kettle twice before using it which its best to do as the water would taste horrible

My last kettle was also russell hobbs but the lid catch started to wear and popped open a few times which could have been dangerous

It still works but the base was getting hot and leaking
