Russell hobbs (now owned by black & decker, i believe) is a vast improvement. It is good to know that some brands still keep their quality and haven't let it deteriorate. Simply designed, not over priced.

Although it is a little pricey, this little toaster is the bomb! Very nice lines on this toaster. Replaces krups toaster it replaced.

Toast comes out different colors on each side but at least both sides get toasted. Sometimes one side isn't as toasted as the other. No buzzer of bell, the toast rises with a sigh.

Just a high cost sub-par toaster. The toast in this unit comes out even but very light. Some of the disappointments with this toaster are issues of design.

No muffins or bagels, just thin bread. It is advertised as adjustable for bagel toasting. Consistently browns much lighter on one side of the bread.

The toasting mechanism sensor is broken. The middle coil on one side came free and burned the inner side of whatever was being toasted in that slot. The smell is offensive, and the chemicals are possibly carcinogenic.
