Pros

This seems like overkill but it provided a decent result. If you follow the sellers instructions and guide i think it turns out really nicely.

A chalk ledge was added with the help of some scrap wood, a table saw and stain. The board rests on the ledge with dry wall screws holding the board to the wall.

Cons

If this is for indoor use jist buy a chalkboard. It's messy and never looks as good as brush on.

All 575 square feet of our apartment was covered in a thin layer of black paint. The little black spray nozzle was just gone. Other spray paints are much denser, and stayed on the sprayed area.
