Pros

Rust-o-leum recommends this primer prior to painting. Needed to use a hand power drill and mixer to stir up paint. Drill and paint mixer is ideal.

Only complaint is with the shipping, the cans were delivered poorly packed and badly dented. The product itself is great, but i ended up having to buy it from an auto store.

Purchased for a badly worn fiberglass tub (tub had been previously refinished). Check out my soda bottle funnel to keep the spout from dripping in the tub.

Read the instructions, prep and use a foam roller. Cleaned and sanded per instructions. Easy to apply with a small roller, medium nap.

Cons

There wasn't one piece of dunnage inside the box or clips on the lid. The entire mess was deposited in the trash and now resides in the city landfill. The leveling is ok, but not great!

-cranked my thermostat to 75 degrees, the primer dried and i started painting within an hour.

Repairs had been made to damaged fiberglass.

Price

Saved me over a thousand bucks and much hassle.

Cheaper on amazon compared to my local store, so i did not hesitate to get this here.

I spent $70 and it looks like a new surround, wish i had done it 2 years ago when i bought the house!

I used it for that purpose so i do not understand the complaints on the price.

Packaging/appearance

My 9 cans of primer did not do so well as they did not put any packing in it!

Update: primer is very good but amazon's packing is the worse i've ever seen!
