Pros & Cons
Pros
The texture is better for making things like steps for human use less slippery. The finish is slip resistant, does not snag socks or hurt bare feet. Definitely works as far as non-skid. Worked very well on a slick deck.
Great product for epoxy floor coating. Works great and leaves a non skid finish without inhibiting paint adhesion. This beats the $70 gallon of skid free paint others sell.

Price
This beats the $70 gallon of skid free paint others sell !
Much less expensive on this site than in stores.
After nearly falling over about the cost of skid strips to apply to exterior stairs, i bought this.
Shipping
On the second shipment the lid was partially off when delivered so some of the skid-tex was lost.
Packaging/appearance
Added one container in 5 gallons of driveway sealer.
Competitiveness
I had purchased two brands and this we definitely the better brand for my application.

It left an emery board texture to the paint and a dull finish this would make cleaning the floor a nightmare since dirt would get stuck between all those millions of super fine sand particles in a way that mops cannot get it out
