Pros & Cons
Pros
It settles on the floor and looks smooth. Great product. Better than the off the shelf product at home depot. Looks amazing still after 2 years without any flaking or issues.
Make certain you have a high quality respirator that fits properly, use eye protection and wear gloves. The squeegee works great for getting water off the floor quick/fast. I used extra bags of the gray/silver flecks, i think they look better than the... Read More
Why not put an extra layer of protectiveness and shine on your floor when you’ve already spent so much time prepping it? It’s a no brainer! See before/after pictures.
The floor needs to be slightly damp for the etching. Mix the etch to water and not the other way around. The caulk is worth getting rid of that dirt catching rut in between the concrete.
The goal here is to get all of the chunks smooth and for the activator to be mixed well with the base (color) use a drill operated mixing tool and have paint stirrers on hand to stir and scoop sediment. Make sure to scrape all the base kit and activat... Read More
Cons
Looks good, but started coming up where the car tires sit after about 6 mos. Instructions are not clear and the product fails to work. Even dragging wood across the floor will cause scratches. Not as advertised.
Highlights
Quality
3 months on and i'm very pleased with the results.
It seemed to work alright, still some light and heavy patches if you're looking for them, but i'm pretty satisfied with the spread.
Good product ,works well, follow instructions you will need a respirator to apply.
If you want it to look awesome be prepared to use twice the product.
Price
I ordered this product but it was damaged and seller has replaced with no cost.
Shipping
The first order didn't go so good with shipping as it was opened and all over.
Packaging/appearance
Also just threw away the paint brushes, rollers and tray.
Then i ended up using two bottles of the rustoleum clean and etch solution.
I had to make two passes as the epoxy patch and repair would sink down into the crack.
Competitiveness
I used one full kit plus 1/3 of another kit for a 24x24 garage floor.
Stuff is tough and i covered with rust-oleum 292514 epoxy shield premium series clear floor coating kit, ... Read More
It went on well and quickly using a 12-inch roller.
I hope this helps out anyone researching this rustoleum product.

Was nervous about applying the epoxy because there is little room for error as far as time not sure if enough there would be enough product for complete coverage due to some floor pitting and really no easy clean up if there was a mistake
