Pros

I used it on 2x4 shelf brackets; they look like metal. That's to be expected with any enamel, but this stuff is particularly potent. Scraped off lose paint and used primer made for aluminum.

Applied okay to metal by dabbing on with a foam brush. It sets up pretty quick, so i would brush on fast with a pretty quick layer and brush lines would settle out/smooth out nicely as paint set up.

The overall consensus is they believe i got a new countertop. The only disappointment is that it only comes in qts. Only downside is that the fumes are no joke.

Kitchen is almost done. The finish seems jard and durable. Once flly dry are quite durable. Even the outlet covers! After a couple months of use shows no scratches or chips etc.

Cons

Rustoleum hammered silver is a putrid swamp greenish slime. The roller diminishes the “hammered” look and it destroys paint brushes. It smells like bad 80s night club gloss.

My only complaint is with the shipping, not the manufacturer.

I don't know if these were added for shipping reasons or because the can had been opened before.

I used the rustoleum to repaint a fence.

Competitiveness

I do use a hvlp spray gun to lay on two good coats.

Surface prep woth oil base paints is important.

I used rustoleum flat black last time but it didn't last or really look good.

But not to worrie 2 nd coat will fix that if it happens.
