Pros & Cons
Pros
The high heat bbq black in the paint can is waaayyyy better than the stuff in the aerosol (spray) can. Sanded off some rust spots on the grill, and then repainted with the rust-oleum. Used this for the outer trim of a fireplace that was outdated bronz... Read More
Love this product. Works well for the old screen. Could not be happier. Does a good job and is durable.
Easy to brush on, just the right viscosity. Goes on very smoothly with good flattening even when brushed on. Not too thick.
Cons
There's no way this is a high-heat enamel. The can is quite dented - see pictures. It was not packaged in a way so as to prevent the dents.
It says it resists temperatures up to 1200 it absolutely does not. One week later after one rain, my barrel is rusted all over. Two gallons for $100 dollars is much better!
Highlights
Quality
The old oven hood looks great with the new wall paint and the new backsplash tiles i installed.
First i scuffed all the bare spots with a wire wheel on a cordless drill then went over the whole textured area with 320 sandpaper.
The brush was cheap enough that i just tossed it.
I wiped it down with paint thinner to remove dust, grease and residue.
Price
Great price and easy to apply with spay gun.
Shipping
Fast delivery and made my grill look like new.
