Pros

The krylon is a true black with satin finish and looks great. Prep of the surface to be painted is the key.

For $7 it feels like i have a whole new fireplace. The price is a bit spendy but nowadays, everything is. Went on well and has done well after using the grill this summer.

Cons

The paint isn't nearly durable enough, even with multiple coats. I think the problem is that this paint dries too fast. The heat resistance seems good enough, but the durability/adhesion is terrible.

Cost is incredibly high on this item. Very disappointed in this product. Disappointing in the finished color.

It has a very chalkboard color and texture that doesn't match most grill colors. It comes out very flat, and is more charcoal grey than anything. Buyer beware of the color.
