Pros

With wood, the grain lifts, so you have to sand and do multiple coats. Spraying has pros and cons. Don't have to deal with washing the paintbrush but need to be careful of over-spray.

Excellent quality & exactly as described. Saved us a trip to the store by ordering it on amazon.

Love this coat adheres like bonding primer. Goes on nicely, flows smooth with a brush.

Cons

The 1/2 pint spray paint can is defective and not returnable. The can is for single use only.

I need a fricken primer to be paintable in 24hours, not 2 days. It seems like i would have to barely mist it in probably 3 separate coats to prevent the running. Then stopped. The cap was not stopped up.

The spray is black by default and does not change color like vht rust converter.

Flaking was minimal so i re-brushed (with a steel brush) and primed then followed up with the oil based paint for our door.

Price

This is a good product for a very low price!

It has a good amount of spray especially for a low price

Shipping

The product came in a reasonable amount of time.

Packaging/appearance

The can was dented up quite badly, but i don't believe it affected the quality of the paint.

Competitiveness

Also, if your workpiece is rusty, rust-oleum’s rusty metal primer is a better bet for durability.

Works well with my concurrently purchased neiko 31215a sprayer.
