Customers have a generally positive opinion about the easy application of this product. They mention that it goes on smoothly, dries fast, and cleans up easily. However, some customers note that it requires careful application to avoid bubbles and the presence of tiny white filaments.
Drying Time
Customers generally praise the quick drying time of this product, making it a convenient choice for those who want to complete their projects efficiently. However, some recommend waiting at least 24 hours between coats for optimal results.
Satin Finish
Customers have a generally positive opinion about the satin finish of Rust-Oleum Varathane 1-Quart Interior Crystal Clear Water-Based Polyurethane, with some expressing satisfaction over its smooth and professional look that enhances the appearance of their projects. However, a few customers mentioned that it requires multiple coats for optimal results and that it's not as durable as oil-based alternatives.
Highlights
Quality
Great product, make sure to use a stirrer before using, never shake and use a quality brush.
Despite that, the product itself works great, and i’d still recommend it for anyone looking for a quality finish.
The finish after 3 coats still looks like no finish.
Over two days applied 4-5 thin coats.
Shipping
Was worth the money and came fast.
Dried quickly and was able to get away with waiting 1 hour between coats.
Packaging/appearance
Thankfully, there was still enough product to finish my project, but the packaging could have been better.
Was packaged in a plastic bag and i guess it got tossed around a bit.
Competitiveness
I used another type of poly finish and there's no comparison between the two.
Also theirs 3x thick one, same brand which i would've preferred due to the fact you only need 1 coat vs 3 of this thinner one.

Needs to be thin even strokes and if you have any white spots that are running you need to get them quick or they’re going to dry like a drip and then you’re gonna have to sand that off and redo
