Got this 2 years ago to use on exposed reclaimed beams in a shop. I use chalk paint for the first time but wanted a satin finish and wanted to make sure the top of piece would have some extra protection.
It glides on smoothly and dries to a beautiful sheen. It cleans up super. Smooth, easy application, no needless muss or fuss.
Cons
This product was touted as crystal clear finish, no yellowing. The only benefit it may have over minwax's water-based oil modified polyurethane is that it does dry clear instead of amber. I assume it would not be noticeable on a lighter stain, but i w... Read More
It is okay. It is on the pricey side for me for the portion that you get. Issue here is the price gouge.

One beam had 6 coats of mostly white paint over its decades in a barn and as a groundcontact patio step the wood was porous but dried out ok

I sanded off 95 of the paint leaving patches embedded in the wood for effect

I’m worried they will begin leaking so i emptied the product into almost empty cans of water based polyurethane

Upon arrival i noticed a dent on one side of the can but it was still sealed and nothing leaked out
