Pros

Two coats is always best, especially when sprayed on. Goes on smoothly, second coat gives it a beautiful finish. Turn out looking excellent, great shine.

Spar urethane is tough. Great outdoor polyurethane.

Cons

This product is *, total trash. Do not purchase. I work for home depot paint department and will not allow my customers to purchase this product. Shame on me for buying paint from amazon. Not very ultimate to me.

It is very thick on the brush, refuses to level before taking a set. Only leaves you a couple of minutes where it is wet enough to extend across the work piece without lapping. Doesn't level out after spraying.

Strip and redo with a different product. After four days of drying in a warm, dry, well ventilated environment, this product is still tacky to the touch.

Works great and seems to hold up well

I sanded and stained my surfaces, applied 2 coats and gave them a couple days too cure.

This came after a complete failure of last years re-finish using an exterior tung oil.

Got this for less from here than the local hardware stores.

I got the semi-gloss because it was the least expensive and my project turned out great and it does have a semi gloss shine.

Nice to have a quick delivery when customers are waiting for you to have the work done!
